Integrative Psychotherapist

I am a UKCP-registered integrative psychotherapist offering weekly in-person sessions to individual adults over the age of 18. I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, low mood, family and relationship concerns, and neurodiversity. My integrative training drew on several therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic ideas, and I have completed post-qualifying training in neurodiversity-informed practice.

What brings you to therapy just now? Some of your concerns may have roots in past experiences and relationships which surface in the recurring patterns and themes of your life today. Psychotherapy offers an opportunity to look at these patterns in a non-judgemental way and to explore the possibility of change.

You may also have questions about aspects of your history and your current life which suggest neurodivergent traits (related to autism or ADHD, for example). Neurodiversity-informed psychotherapy can be helpful if you are beginning to make sense of yourself through a neurodiversity lens or have questions about whether this might be relevant to you or to someone close to you.

Whatever the focus of your therapy, it can be valuable to explore your current concerns in the wider context of your life experience and your relationships and to move back and forth between different perspectives on your past, your present life, and your future.

If you would like to explore working with me, please do get in touch to enquire about arranging a short initial phone call. The next step is to schedule a preliminary session in which we explore your requirements further and assess whether therapy with me feels appropriate for you. I generally work long-term in an open-ended way, but we can also discuss time-limited work.

I am registered as an integrative psychotherapist with the Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy College of the UK Council for Psychotherapy, and I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
