About me and my therapy practice

I am an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, which means that I work collaboratively with every client to tailor and adapt my approach according to their preferences and situation. Therapeutic approaches that I often draw from include Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and I collaborate with my client to develop a compassionate and personalised therapeutic plan that truly addresses their individual needs and concerns. I have experience of working in the NHS Talking Therapies, low-cost therapy services and volunteering for a charity in London supporting people in emotional distress, struggling to cope or at risk of suicide.


Practice description

My priority is to fully engage with each person I speak to and understand their unique experiences. I offer a warm, non-judgmental and supportive environment where you can process and explore difficult or painful thoughts and feelings. My professional experience includes working with individuals facing a range of mental health challenges including trauma, anxiety, worries and self-criticism, abuse, neglect, attachment issues, challenges with emotional regulation, self-harm, adverse childhood experience and relational difficulties. I have experience in working with uncovering the thought patterns and behaviours that we often unknowingly adopt during our formative years and might have long-lasting effect on mental as well as physical health. Therapy can support you to better understand the things that are causing you concern or difficulties at your own pace in a compassionate environment.


My first session

I offer an initial 50 minute session to explore whether we might like to work together for further therapy. This session is charged at the standard rate. This session allows us to know each other, and it’s important that you feel this is the right fit for you. There is no obligation to continue afterward. If you would like, we can schedule a free 15-minute telephone consultation. This will give you the opportunity to ask any questions and determine if you would like to book an appointment. If you feel that I am the right therapist for you, we can then arrange our first session.
