MSc, MBACP

Integrative Psychotherapist

I am a qualified Brazilian psychotherapist with a background in Psychology. I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and of the BPS (British Psychological Society).

I work with individuals (adults over 18) and couples in an empathetic and non-judgmental environment where clients can feel safe enough to open up and work towards a positive outcome. After 15 years of studying and working with human behaviour I help clients who are experiencing unwanted emotions such as anxiety, sadness, fear, anger, shame and guilt (to name but a few). My experience shows that almost certainly these emotions lead clients to unwanted behaviours such as withdrawal, poor communication and harsh self-criticism that makes their self-esteem decrease. Consequently, these may affect peoples’ relationships such as romantic relationships, relationship with work colleagues, with friends or with family members. In addition, I also have experience in Neurodiversity (ADHD, Autism, Dyspraxia and Dyslexia).

If this is what is happening to you, you are in the right place. I will guide you through this unhelpful way of thinking, feeling and behaving and then you can move towards a more fulfilling life, making peace with yourself and others. During your therapeutic process you will discover more about yourself, your strengths, your values, how to have better relationships, learn some skills and much more. To achieve this, I use different approaches such as CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Person Centred, Psychodynamic and others.
